What this site is
HearingWise is an independent consumer research site focused on one product entity: OmniHear. We read the seller's material, compare it against public and regulatory information, record what conflicts, and publish what we could and could not verify.

Why the site exists
Search results for hearing devices sold direct to consumers are crowded with pages that restate the sales copy and add a star rating. That is not useful to someone deciding whether to spend their money. We try to add the thing those pages omit: the difference between what a seller says and what can be checked.
How we work
Every substantive claim is labelled by source, every page shows when it was last checked, and where a figure is unconfirmed we leave it unconfirmed. The full process is on the review methodology page, and our sourcing rules are in the editorial policy.
How the site is funded
